La Bota 119 by Florpower MMXXII is a still white wine made by Equipo Navazos in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Andalusia. Coming from 100% palomino fino grapes from Sanlúcar vineyards with vines between 55 and 85 years old located in Pago Miraflores La Baja.Florpower 119 is an unfortified white wine that essentially shares its origin and production process with the 2010 and 2012 vintages, which corresponded to editions 44, 53, and 57 of the "La Bota de" series, and even more so with the subsequent vintages from 2014 to 2021 (numbers 67 to 114). With the 2022 vintage, the Navazos Team continues to seek the optimal balance and freshness to achieve a perfect expression of the vineyard through a shorter biological aging process compared to the pioneering vintages. In this vintage, we have omitted the resting and subtle aging under the layer of flor in steel tanks after an intense biological aging in the traditional 600-liter sherry casks. The wine comes entirely from Palomino Fino grapes cultivated in a vineyard located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, with vines ranging from 55 to 85 years old, situated in Pago Miraflores La Baja. In the 2022 vintage, the wine fermented in the same casks where it was subsequently aged under the flor veil for eight months, until it was extracted and bottled at the end of May 2023.
