Short pruning in goblet and absence of herbicides, with organic farming treatment. Fermentation is carried out in 225-litre barrels and it is aged for less than twelve months. The result is a white wine with depth and elegance, where fruit and white flowers predominate.

Description
Kalifo is a Verdejo monovarietal, from Nieva, Segovia. The land is located at an altitude of 850 meters and the vineyard is old, about 125 years old. Short pruning in goblet and absence of herbicides, with organic farming treatment. Fermentation is carried out in 225-litre barrels and it is aged for less than twelve months. The result is a white wine with depth and elegance, where fruit and white flowers predominate.

Vinos al Margen is a small winery born in Salamanca in 2012 with the purpose of recovering, preserving and vinifying the area's ancient vineyards in danger of extinction. Its aim is to recover time, those wines made as before, in a simple way, that express the vineyard in each harvest. They elaborate in a traditional way, based on an organic agriculture that accompanies and harmonizes with the nature of the terroir.
