Kamara Retsina Traditional is a pine resin-flavoured white wine made from Roditis and Assyrtiko by the Kioutsoukis family at their Kamara Wines winery in the Kamara region of Greece. This is a very traditional white wine from the North of Greece. A wine that is grown biodynamically and to which, during fermentation, small pieces of pine resin are added, which give it a... retsinous profile. It will not leave you indifferent.

Kamara is the family project of the Kioutsoukis. This hyper-bio-dynamic family is commanded by the inexhaustible Dimitrios at the head of a team that includes his wife Eleftheria and his children who are very involved with him. From 11 hectares of vineyards planted in the surroundings of Thessaloniki, the Kioutsoukis produce wines with minimal intervention, we could say natural, using organic methods both in the vineyard and in winemaking. Dimitrios is not one of many crazy people letting the wine make itself, quite the opposite, since he is a chemical engineer from the University of Davis in California, so his approach is one of total precision, as is that of his daughter Stavroula , agricultural engineer. Their mantra is to make wines that ferment with indigenous yeasts, with no added oenological additives, and bottled without filtration or sulfites. Proof that natural wines... when like these... yes.
