Description
Nine parts of Viura and one part of Vidueño planted in 1955 on terraces in Baños de Ebro, at an altitude of 450 meters. Clay-limestone soils. Fermented in ovoid shaped deposit, with whole cluster. Bottled unfiltered.

Making wines for drink with joy. That is the principle of Clos Ibai, in the area of Baños de Ebro. But, in the area, there are very old, naturally protected vineyards, as if they were Burgundian's clos, which are being lost due to lack of attention and profitability. These clos are a heritage, and Daniel and Xabier decide to buy them, lease them and, ultimately, give them a present and a future. They are grown in organic, with the purpose of certifying them (some already are), without pretending to be a large winery. It will always be a small project. A project to bottle terroir wines, microvinifications with character and personality.
