Vinha dos Utras is a white wine made mainly from the Arinto variety by Antonio Maçanita at the Azores Wine Company. The result of a field blend where 95% is Arinto das Azores, it pays homage to the arrival in the Azores of the Utras, specifically Joss Hurtere, a Flemish who was Captain General of PIco and Fayal and who was decisive for the flourishing of wine in this region. . The vineyard from which this wine comes is on the seafront, favoring concentration and sun exposure.
