This lieu-dit in Barre is characterized by its minerality and its finesse. It is a good introduction to the Meursault style of the Jobard: linear, mineral and electric. Inside Meursault there are illustrious names and the last name Jobard is among them. The fame was given by Francois Jobard, who today has given the tackle to his son Antoine. The Jobards, despite being on top of the AOC, are all humility and keep their small cellar (just 30,000 bottles) in the lower part of their house, as is traditional in the small family Domaines of the Cote d Or. The Jobard family has properties in some of the best farms in Meursault (Charmes, Genevrieres, Poruzots) and produces their wines in the most traditional way. The natural cold of the underground cellar leads to very slow fermentations and wines that are very austere in their youth and require time to express themselves fully. Their wines usually go out to the market between six months and a year later than other domaines of the Cote d Or.

To know if a Domaine is good, you don't have to try its star wine. You have to try the basic wine. And Jobard's Bourgogne gives the size (and in what way). Very limited. Inside Meursault there are illustrious names and the last name Jobard is among them.
In La Ferme de la Sansonnière the Chenin Blanc is cultivated as nowhere else. Impossible to find more care for the vineyard and a simpler elaboration. We love this La Lune for its intensity, its maturity and the ability to retain the minerality of the estate.
A wine that the Angeli make to show that it is possible to make an ancestral Chenin Blanc, with a long second fermentation in the bottle. Slaughtered in May 2020. Very limited, and it will take many years for this experiment to be carried out again, because it takes ten years to vinify it.
