We are facing a really unique rosé. In addition to being the only one made with the Albarín Negro caste, it shows incredible violet hues, a scented nose and a nerve in the mouth like few rosé wines today. In fact, it is more related to the extreme wines of central Europe than to the mild Mediterranean climate of Spain.
Conservas de Carne
The origin of this gastronomic delight dates back to the 1st century and its creation is attributed to Marco Gavio Apicio, who made complicated recipes such as foie gras obtained from the liver of goose fed with figs. We give thanks to that creative mind, since today it is considered a culinary delicacy.
The Carrasquín with which this Escolinas Carrasquín is made is a variety that the Benedictines brought with them in the 11th century to Cangas, when they settled in the Corias Monastery. Late maturing variety, its resistant skin makes it ideal for cultivation in the north of Asturias. And it gives tannin and acidity to the wines.
In this vintage aesthetic tin, 8-10 huge and juicy pieces await you. If you have not yet tried Juncal Asparagus, imagine an asparagus far from the usual consumption, much creamier and without fibrosity, that does not need sauces or dressings to succeed. If you know them, surely they are waiting, like us, each new season to launch themselves for them.
