This a Beaujolais on the skins made with Chardonnay of calcareous clay soils, which he destems and then macerates for 15 days, after which it performs a pressing to begin fermentation. The wine is aged for six months in barrels and foudres. The result is a wine that has not been approved by the Beaujolais council and is therefore marketed as Vin de France.
