This is a white wine made from the Alvarinho variety from a single plot originating in Monçao and Melgaço. Pressed from whole destemmed grapes and fermented in used 400-litre barrels. Aged for 9 months on its lees. Anselmo Mendes is considered one of the best winemakers in Portugal. He spent his childhood surrounded by Vinho Verde vineyards and in 1998 he began producing. The winery is located in the Minho Valley and is a place where Anselmo Mendes' passion for wine and land takes shape and flavour.
