Castiñeiro is a plot in Aldea do Monte in Lois-Ribadumia planted with Albariño and Espadeiro in “emparrado”. The Albariño was macerated 48h and after pressing the must fermented in 3 amphorae of uncoated white ceramic of 350 liters. The nose is very oxidative, the most interesting is the volume in the mouth, it is very fatty and round. There is not a great varietal typicity of primary notes and it is closer to a Jura non ouillé. Objectively, winemaking marks more than variety, but it is very interesting, it is a wine for an audience that wants to try more than just a technological wine.
