Ossian Vides y Viñedos
Capitel de Ossian is a wine made with Verdejo grapes from one of the oldest plots that the winery owns in Peña Aguda, in Nieva. These vines grow on slate soil, which gives the wine the mineral strength that characterizes it. The harvest is manual and exhaustive, in 15kg boxes. The whole bunch is pressed, without destemming, the must ferments with native yeast in 228-litre Burgundian barrels for a final transfer to French oak barrels, where it begins aging for 10 months on lees. An exceptional white, full of nuances and depth, to perfectly express the area and the variety.
