La Llorona is the white wine made from small-grain Godello grapes by Verónica Ortega in El Bierzo.
One more vintage continues to surprise us due to its mineral character, which is provided by the sandy soils of Pieros, a town with high-altitude crops, in El Bierzo. De-stemmed grapes, light skin maceration overnight and gentle racking. Spontaneous fermentation and aging for 9 months in 600, 500 and 225 liter barrels. Crisp and crystalline minerality. A tasty, fast and lively mouth. Long live La Llorona!
