Pezas da Portela is a tribute to Portela, origin of Godello. It is a village wine that is produced exclusively from the eleven historic pezas (small plots) located on the slate slopes of the village of Portela. These eleven pieces were planted throughout the first half of the s. XX by the sons of Mr. José Ramón Gayoso, second generation of the family, continuing the legacy of his father as a pioneer in the cultivation and production of Godello wines, and for this they used a mass selection of Pedrouzos.
