Bodegas Fillaboa was founded at the end of the 18th century and has belonged to the Masaveu family since 2000. It is one of the oldest and largest estates in Galicia, and the only winery in Rías Baixas belonging to the prestigious Grandes Pagos de España association. A total of 74 hectares of farm, of which 50 are cultivated with the Albariño variety, make up Finca Fillaboa. This wine comes from the historic Finca Fillaboa, from vineyards covering 50 hectares located on undulating slopes that border in its southern part with the Tea and Miño rivers, the natural border with Portugal. Eight of its payments make up this 'coupage', which are the most representative and of the best quality. The texture of the soil is sandy loam with an abundance of pebbles and the age of the vineyard ranges between 18 and 31 years.
