At Coalla Gourmet, we present Damien Laureau Les Raisins de l’Amitié 2024, a white wine born from the collaborative spirit and respectful viticulture of Domaine Laureau in the Loire Valley. This cuvée, whose name means “The Grapes of Friendship,” reflects the cooperation among winemakers and the Chenin Blanc tradition in the region.
Made from selected Chenin Blanc grapes from different soils (schist and limestone) and vinified in both barrels and stainless steel tanks, this wine offers a delightful balance between freshness and structure. On the palate, it stands out for its lively and pleasant acidity, with a well-defined fruit expression reminiscent of pear and white fruits with a touch of spring flowers, while the minerality provides tension and balance.
