Within the large vineyard of Finca Pazo de Barrantes (located in the Salnés Valley of the Rías Bajas), there is an old vineyard called Pago Cacheiro, where grows the Albariño for La Comtesse. Its careful winemaking, in addition to its subsequent and unique aging, in which the wine, after fermentation and contact with its lees, remains for 12 months in wooden vats and another 8 months in concrete tanks.
