In 2002, Rafa is hired to collaborate with a winery in Valdeorras, Bodegas Señorío and from that moment, decides to break everything (family winery included) and try to carry out his dream of making the great white wine he has in the head. It is in 2004 when he finally moved to Valdeorras with his family and began to acquire vineyards. Located in the westernmost part of the region on the right bank of the Bibei River, its altitude ranges between 650 m. at 700 m. and stands out for the originality of its sandy textured soils originated by degraded granites. They are low fertile, acid and erodible soils. The average age of the vineyard ranges between 18 and 40 years. As Sortes is the wine that made him famous and today benefits from having some of the best plots. One of the great white wines of our country. This 2018 vintage is vibrant and pure minerality in the mouth.
