Scritch Macon Blanc is a white wine crafted by Cyprien Arlaud using Chardonnay grapes from various plots in the Mâconnais, in the Burgundy region of France.
Hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed, the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Ageing takes place mainly on the lees, allowing for malolactic fermentation at the estate to add texture and balance. Gravity racking and unfined bottling, timed with the lunar cycle, reflect a meticulous and respectful approach to the wine’s origin.
