Desvignes Beaujolais Blanc Sans Bois ni Loi is a white wine made with the Chardonnay variety by Emmanuelle and Louis-Benoit Desvignes in their winery located in Morgon (Beaujolais), in France.It comes from an estate with deep clay soils on the border between the Beaujolais AOC and the Morgon Cote du Py, although planted with Chardonnay in 2005. It is the Domaine's first Chardonnay, a small revolution for the Desvignes brothers. We are looking for a round wine with a saline and sapid touch that provides balance in a sweet, full and floral package.It is grown without chemicals, it is harvested manually, a long and gentle pressing is done with 20% destemming, after fermentation it spends 7 months in cement eggs, refining.Louis-Benoit and Claude-Emmanuelle Desvignes are the eighth family generation of this Domaine that was founded in 1722. Morgonians to the max, they work 13 hectares of vineyards, of which 5 are located in what is probably the most famous vineyard in the entire Beaujolais: The Côte du Py, which the Desvignes now divide into different subplots.
