Domaine des Ardoisières Quartz is a white wine made from the Altesse grape variety grown on the sunny terraces and distinctive terroir of Coteau de Cevins, Savoie, France.The vines spread across sun-exposed terraces, facing South and Southeast with slopes of up to 60%. The soil, primarily composed of slate, mica schisteux, and silt, reveals its impoverished and shallow nature.The crown jewel is the exclusive use of the Altesse grape. This unique variety breathes life into the distinctive character of the wine.Grape cultivation is carried out using the gobelet sur échalas system, limiting the yield to 20 hl/ha to concentrate the richness of the harvest.In the winemaking process, whole-cluster fermentation takes center stage, with indigenous yeasts bringing the must to life.
