Orbajo 2021, from Los Vinos del Agua (an Asturias/León collaborative project), is a single-varietal Albarín Blanco sourced from 20-year-old organic vineyards. Fermented and aged for 5 months on lees—no oak—this wine displays a vibrant straw-yellow color. On the nose, it reveals white and stone fruits, citrus, floral notes, and subtle bakery aromas from lees aging. The palate is soft, inviting, broad, with well-balanced acidity and a fresh, persistent finish that echoes pastries and fruit . Crafted in limited quantities (~4,000 bottles) and certified organic, it’s a modern and elegant expression of Albarín.
