Neno de Viña Somoza 2024
Bodega Viña Somoza
Godello, original monovarietal. NENO, "the child", in Galician. Youthful, jovial with a delicate aroma and fruity flavor. It expresses the heterogeneity of the D.O. Valdeorras. It is the result of the manual selection of grapes from various plots, with different types of soil: slate from the highest areas, granite, "xábregos" (sandy) from the middle of the slope and alluvial soils of the valley. Different orientations and heights, characteristics of this region.
Fermentation with spontaneous yeasts and controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, vats and French oak barrels. Aging on fine lees, batonnage method for 7 months. Pairing: fish appetizers, fresh cheeses, baked fish, sushi.
