Le Vin de L'A Chasselas is a white wine produced in the Lake Geneva and Valais region of Switzerland, made from the emblematic Chasselas variety, locally known as fendant, first documented in 1612. This wine comes from old vines over 40 years of age located on the slopes of Ollon, growing on silty and stony limestone soils that contribute minerality and freshness to the wine.The berries, lightly sun-kissed, are harvested on a flower day and gently pressed as whole clusters. The result is a wine with delicate and complex aromas of white flowers, enhanced by an elegant mineral touch. With a limited production of 1600 bottles, Le Vin de L'A Chasselas is perfect for pairing with white fish, soft cheeses, or traditional Swiss raclette. It is best served at a temperature of 10-12 °C and enjoyed within its first 3-4 years to fully appreciate its freshness and character.
