Palacio de Nevares Albarín 2023

Palacio de Nevares is a monovarietal of Albarín blanco, a variety that grows almost exceptionally in Asturias. In the winery, it is aged on lees for three months, to add depth and structure to its marked Atlantic character, with good acidity typical of the variety and the area. It is a friendly wine, which can accompany us both in aperitifs and in a more elaborate meal without being left behind.

The stately Palacio de Nevares is located in Parres, Arriondas, a few kilometers from the coast and the Sueve mountains in the Picos de Europa region. They have 7 hectares of land, divided into four vineyards where the Atlantic character prevails, with loamy-sandy soils, very rich in organic matter, which produce fresh and unique wines. As a curiosity, it is the most northerly vineyard on the Iberian Peninsula.
