Chanzy Bouzeron Clos de la Fortune Vieilles Vignes is a white wine made by Maison Chanzy from Aligoté from their vineyards in Burgundy, France.Aligoté, that reviled variety that, however, Chanzy sublimes. Lose your fear because in this wine the best terroir in the world for the variety (Bouzeron) and the know-how of a house that is pure Bouzeron come together. From Clos de La Fortune, a monopole of just over half a hectare, Chanzy makes this Clos de la Fortune Vieilles Vignes with a selection from the oldest area of the clos. The harvest involves selection, destemming and pressing very gently. The wine undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in only three pieces bourguignons (228l), one of which is new. It is then blended in steel before bottling.We are facing a great white wine, it has intensity, it has complexity and it has potential. Give it a chance because we have obtained a small allocation (think that only three barrels are made a year) and we consider it a triumph.
