Description

Barco del Corneta surprises us with Las Envidias, a Palomino monovarietal from La Liebre, a farm located in Alcazarén, Valencia. The soils are aeolian sands and the vineyard is ungrafted, 100 years old, bathed in a continental climate at a height of almost 780 meters. It is harvested by hand and after spontaneous fermentation it is aged under a flor veil in a sherry barrel for twelve months. Four months in storage and direct to the bottle, in a production of 1,600 bottles. Las Envidias was born to demonstrate the potential of Palomino in the area, through this wine of great purity and complexity.
