Description

Trenzado is made fundamentally with Listán Blanco from two of the best vineyards in Suertes del Marqués: El Esquilón and La Piñera, which are conducted with the ancestral practice of braided cord. In the coupage, a proportion of vidueño (mixed varieties) from other trellis farms also enters. Among these varieties that make up the vidueño are the Gual, Marmajuelo, Baboso Blanco, Albillo Criollo, Vijariego Blanco and Verdello). The grape is destemmed and only the juice bud is obtained from the press, which is fermented in 500-litre French oak barrels, followed by barrel aging whose duration varies with the vintage. It is a wine with great personality, which can be stored, and which is sometimes reduced immediately after uncorking, so we recommend a decant.
