Chanzy Rully Blanc La Crée c is a white wine made by Maison Chanzy from Chardonnay from its vineyards in Burgundy, France.Chanzy has just under two hectares of this lieu-dit La Crée which literally means ""the lime"". And that's good, because limestone soils are the watchword of the best Chardonnays from Burgundy, and here they are present in the soil and in the glass. Rully is an AOC that may not have the prestige of others in Burgundy, but we are used to being excited by its wines. Not in vain, there are many centuries of tradition and anyone who has been to Rully (the town) knows that it has that stately aura, with its church and a slender bell tower. The Abbey of Saint Benigno of Dijon, the powerful House of Vergy and the Ducs of Bourgogne had estates here. It was not, therefore, a forgotten area. The La Crée estate is a hill of boulders that make us think of an old quarry. The wine is made in stainless steel after a cold pre-fermentation maceration. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, it is aged for 15 months in 228 and 500 liter barrels, only 10% of which are new.A bright wine, lively, spicy, mineral nose with citrus and yellow fruits. The fruit predominates in the mouth and lengthens the wine until the end of the mouth. It can be enjoyed up to the seventh year after the harvest.
