The Pazo de Barrantes winery is the perfect sister of Marqués de Murrieta, as they describe it themselves and proof of this is this magnificent Albariño that has become one of our favorite whites of the year. It's herbal, deep, and just the right time to be opened and enjoyed. We warn you that a bottle to share will fall short..

2015 is turning out to be one of the best vintages in recent times; a year in the bottle has made this wine more harmonious and nuanced, with pronounced balsamic aromas, a herbal touch and aromas of white flowers, apples and some white pepper. In the mouth it is terribly balanced, combining power and finesse, with a subtle, well-integrated acidity. It has turned out to be in the higher scoring range that I anticipated when I tasted it before bottling. (Luis Gutiérrez 91RP)
