Description
Marcio Lopes Permitido Branco Douro 2020 is a white wine made with the Rabigato variety by Marcio Lopes in the Upper Douro area, in Portugal.

It is produced in a single vineyard in Meda, at an altitude of 700m, almost on the edge of the Denomination of Origin. The vineyard was planted a quarter of a century ago and given the poverty of the soils, it has a very low production, just 1.2kg per vine. The wine is harvested by hand, vinified with its skins for 45 days in a fermentation vat and remains for up to six months on its fine lees.

It is a very balanced wine on the palate, with body and a long aftertaste that is also very fresh.
