Arinto Solera is a white wine made by Filipe Rocha and Antonio Macanita with the Arinto variety in vineyards near the sea on Pico Island, Azores, Portugal.It is a wine that Filipe and Antonio make using the solera method, in this case four years old. With some of their best Arinto grapes they have started a solera to find a three-dimensional expression of this great variety from the Azores. It is a clean straw yellow wine. Scent intense tertiary, but at the same time mineral. Presence of iodine, honeycomb and citrus. Tense, highly textured, complex and intense attack. With minerality and acidity present.
