Equipo Navazos La Bota 101 Manzanilla Florpower MMXVI

One of the greatest revolutions of Equipo Navazos is making the great young single vintage Manzanilla. That was La Bota 82 and that is this Bota 101. Miraflores la Baja, fermented in the old style, raised under a veil after a very slight heading, just 3%.

And it is also exactly the same wine that was bottled as La Bota de Florpower 84 MMXVI (2016 vintage), since at the time part of the same must with which Florpower 2016 was made was fortified to raise it as Manznailla from the beginning, which which was enriched with some Florpower 2016 casks that were later topped, after their aging process under veil at natural graduation.
It is a complex explanation, we are aware, just as we know that many of the professionals who with their admirable work contribute to bring Equipo Navazos wines to the tables of the best amateurs and restaurants in Spain and the world would prefer a message that is easier to use. transmit: if Florpower has always been an unfortified wine, why complicate it with a “florpower” Manzanilla? Well, because such is Jerez and because the common thread of all the “florpowers” ??is the exceptional vineyard of Pago Miraflores La Baja from which they come and which always ends up imposing its character regardless of the type of aging and the eventual fortification.
