Description
The LBV was developed as an alternative to Vintage Porto. The idea was to create a quality wine that was more affordable and intended for immediate consumption, which could be drunk on a day-to-day basis, without the need to consume the entire bottle at once. Although many other houses now have this wonderful style of wine, Taylor's LBV - the original Late Bottled Vintage - continues to be the reference port wine within this category.
