Description
All of Equipo Navazos' wines have their own history, and the story of this PX Bota No, number 56 in the series, was no different. When Jan Pettersen took over Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla, he discovered that the Pedro Ximénez soleras had been dismantled to sell the casks individually. However, a small amount of wine that had naturally concentrated remained in a few casks and was left under his control. In a Montilla style, with a low initial alcohol content, it was necessary to retouch them to the required fifteen degrees and let them round off for a few years. The wine now bottled with number 56 comes from a single cask and, as has happened so many times with Equipo Navazos' editions, will be unrepeatable. In reality, a little piece of history.
