Description
Chateau Grillon, a 10 hectare property in the Barsac area, which we have been following for several years and which maintains not only excellent quality but also an extraordinary value for money. Semillon and, to a lesser extent, Muscadelle and Sauvignon Blanc are planted on the estate, which are harvested by making different passes over several weeks (specifically, between three and four passes to collect botrytis-affected grapes). Vinification is traditional, combining cement and barrels, and aging takes place in barrels that are renewed every year by 25%. Ideal as an aperitif, but it can also accompany foie gras, cheeses or be a tabletop wine. And best of all, an open bottle keeps very well for weeks in the fridge.
