Alba Campeonísimo Ancestral 2017

Sparkling wine from a vineyard called Campeonisimo del Pago Miraflores de Sanlucar, made using the Ancestral method. Alba Viticultores is a very unique project, unique in its kind, but this is not surprising when you meet the people behind: Fernando Angulo, genius and figure, is the soul of the project, of this one and of those that it proposes, from the sale of jelly sandals, to the making of T-shirts sponsored by government ministries, although they do not know it. The rest of the protagonists are his buddies, from Paco Félix de la Herrería, tavern in the Barrio Alto de Sanlucar, to retired bricklayers for the conditioning of his new winery, or wine growers such as El Bolli, who have safeguarded the authentic character of the Sanluqueño vineyard, of which Fernando is stocked for the elaboration of his Ancestral wines, “sobre tablas” or wines of very low graduation that are sold almost as a soft drink. Any product that Fernando has crossed his mind, arises from these vineyards and their fermentations in glass jars, all with a point of madness and disorder that excites if you can understand.
