Description
Le Mont des Tours es un viñedo plantado hace 30 años, exclusivamente con Chardonnay, en la zona sudoeste de la ladera de Bouzy, en dirección a Tauxières. Junto con Les Loges, forma parte de la nueva colección de Champagnes de finca de Camille Savès. Una curiosidad de este Champagne es que, siendo Bouzy uno de los Grand Cru de la Montaigne de Reims, donde la reina es la Pinot Noir, en la finca de los Savès sólo hay Chardonnay. El vino base fermenta en barrica, sin maloláctica, y tras el tiraje pasa cuatro años realizando la segunda fermentación. El resultado es un vino vivo, con tensión, que se desarrollará muy positivamente en botella aunque resulta delicioso ahora mismo en clave frutal, con manzana, pera, y el cítrico habitual en Bouzy.
