Description
La Cuvée des Loges is an estate Champagne made from a vineyard located halfway up the slope of the Grand Cru Bouzy. Planted 35 years ago exclusively with Pinot Noir. Despite being a Champagne without a vintage, the philosophy is to use 90% of a year as a base and add 10% of the previous vintage. The base wines are fermented in barrels, without malolactic fermentation, as is the norm in this small producer, and after tirage, they carry out the second fermentation in the bottle for a minimum of 4 years. This is a wine of depth, purity and refinement, to which a dosage in Extra-Brut (4 grams per liter) contributes. Although it is irresistible right now, we think it will improve a lot in the bottle.
