Charles Heidsieck Brut Rosé Réserve NV

Charles Heidsieck is one of those Grandes Maisons de Champagne that falls little under the radar of aficionados. And it seems a little unfair to us because they are one of the most serious producers among the Grandes Maisons. The Brut Rosé Reserve is a blended Champagne Rosé. Four fifths of the clear wine of a vintage, divided equally between the three main varieties of Champagne. To them, 20% of reserve wines are added, which are always Pinot and Chardonnay. And, on that basis, a five percent Pinot Noir red wine from the Les Riceys terroir, known for its finesse. Three years of parenting in rhyme.
