Pequenos Rebentos O Principe e O Bandido 2022

Pequenos Rebentos O Principe e o Bandido is a sparkling rosé wine made by Marcio Lopes with the Alvarinho variety mixed with vidueño that he himself grows in the Melgaço sub-area in Portugal.It is a wine that Márcio elaborates in co-authorship with his good friend Décio Salgado. The name of the wine is related to the varieties used. The Alvarinho is the prince, and the vidueño (mixture of varieties on a farm) is the bandit. Both come from the granite soils of Melgaço, in the best area of the Portuguese Vinho Verde.The wine is made as an ancestral wine, without the addition of sulfur. The fermentation ends in the bottle, allowing the fine lees to be in contact with the wine for greater creaminess. A limited wine, barely 4,000 bottles a year, fresh and easy to drink.
