The natural and whole Tormantos tomato has excellent quality and is certified organic. Like the house shredded, it has a very good flavor and no trace of preservatives or unnecessary chemicals. It comes in a 420 gram glass jar and is very versatile. We like it to take it to a frying pan, break it up with a fork and mix it with pasta, or directly to cook any preparation that deserves a good tomato as a base.

From the Tormantos orchard, in La Rioja, we get the best canned tomato that we have tasted so far.
There are a few generations, since the 1960s, that have been working the land in a respectful way, based on organic farming and taking these practices also to packaging, totally manual. Initially, the family distributed their canned vegetables among those known in the area due to excess product and to the delight of that grateful neighborhood. It is in the year 1987 when the company is consolidated as such and they begin to can and package their tomatoes and vegetables to start a distribution throughout the country.
The whole tomato goes in a glass jar and the crushed tomato goes in a can. Both are already allies of our kitchens, facilitating our work beautifully. For stews, pasta, stocks or even fresh salads. Versatile preserves that remind us of the simple and unhurried cuisine of yesteryear.
