Description
Gloc is a project born out of friendship and the desire to make a wine together in Bierzo with the Gómez Lucas brothers from the Vinifícate winery in Cádiz, pioneer producers of Tintilla de Rota and ancestral wines in the Jerez area. 2019 is the first vintage of this wine made by the ancestral method, it is a direct pressing of the Mencia and Palomino blend, the Mencia comes from a 60-year-old vineyard on sandy clay soil, and Palomino from a 95-year-old vineyard in the area de La Rata, both in the town of Valtuille de Abajo (Bierzo). Elaboration with destemmed grapes, direct pressing in a vertical press with light skin maceration for 8 hours. Spontaneous fermentation and bottling at 1003 g/ml density. After being bottled, it has remained 3 years and 5 months in rhyme to be manually slaughtered on January 24, 2023. It is an ancestral rosé wine.
