Gran Caus Rosado is a small rarity because where rosés are usually light and casual wines, based on fragrant fruit, Gran Caus is a wine made without compromise. A stately grape, Merlot, from which the first of the musts is separated, the mosto flor, which is the one with the most aromas, and the ones it has are the most delicate. This mosto flor ferments spontaneously without adding yeast and the wine is a serious wine, fruity on the nose, dry on the palate. It is one of those rarities that make Gran Caus great and it is, without a doubt, a Coalla wine.
