Jean Leon Rosé is, like all 3055s, an organic wine from the D.O. Penedes. It is made with Pinot Noir, collected in vineyards 500 meters high and spends about 15-20 days of fermentation. It is delicate, elegant. An ideal rosé to accompany us as an aperitif, with fish dishes, sushi or white meats.
Ángel Ceferino Carrión Medrazo (real name of Jean Leon) dedicated his life to traveling and working, from waiter in France to plate boy and taxi driver in New York (3055 was his license). In 1963 and after setting up his own restaurant in Beverly Hills, he bought 150 hectares in Alto Penedés, and took the risk of planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay as a pioneer in Spain, to begin his journey in wine production, and become a benchmark for world level.
