Description

Curii Clarete is a wine made with Giró, Trepadell and Malvasía from vineyards over 60 years old established in the Pla-Xaló area (Alicante). Alluvial soils and pebbles. The grapes are destemmed and crushed after a day and a half of maceration with their skins before pressing. 10 months of aging in used oak. Violeta Gutiérrez de la Vega and Alberto Redrado set up their own project outside the family winery. The Giró is their way of life and they try to make the most of it to get its full potential. They sign different labels, but in the 2020 vintage they return to the original idea of Curii Uvas y Vinos, which was none other than to make a single wine with a classic spirit resulting from the mixture of the different plots.
