Otto is a rosé wine made by OXER Wines with the 60% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 10% Graciano, 10% Viura and 10% Mazuelo varieties of the area planted in very old vineyards in Rioja Alavesa (one of them from 1920) with altitudes of 600 meters, on clay-calcareous soils with yields of around 3,000 kg per hectare. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in foudres and subsequent aging in used 500-liter French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. Subsequent aging of 10 months in the same barrels. The vineyards of La Rioja are almost centuries old and are located in Elvillar, Leza, Navaridas and Laguardia in Rioja Alavesa, Cárdenas and San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja Alta) They are worked organically with regenerative agriculture and maximum respect for the environment. In the winery, the minimum intervention is made so that the wines fully express the terroir. The result is unique, incredible wines, with great recognition from critics and highly respected by good aficionados. The hallmark of wines is their freshness and elegance. They are wines with hardly any extraction and are vinified with French oak (always used), Austrian foudres, Padilla clay jars and concrete eggs, so that the result is fruity wines and not 'maderized'.
