Síleo presents his new villa wine. From the Cornudella de Montsant grape called La Parada, Partida Codolar, Mas den Roca and Les Obagues, Síleo produces this almost single-varietal Garnacha (accompanied by 7% Cariñena). They are old vines on a hillside, planted between 20 and 80 years ago, at altitude. The soils combine limestone, clay and slate that they call licorella there. The wine seeks freshness, and it shows in the 13.5% of declared alcohol. It shows in the fluidity, the ease of drinking and even in a very vivid, clean and bright color. Garnachea elegantly, which helps a not very long aging -about twelve months- but always in a large container, 500-liter French oak barrel and 600-liter clay amphorae.
