Clos Lojen comes from the El Abuelo, El Cerro, La Señorita, La Senda, Luján, Mirador and Peral de la Manchuela plots of Cuenca. These are calcareous clay soils in which Bobal was planted more than 30 years ago. The wine is made with indigenous yeasts and is aged for 9 months in 600-liter French oak barrels, after which it is bottled without clarifying or filtering. It is a wine that has the fruitiness of Bobal but also the freshness of limestone, which gives it a verticality that prompts us to want another drink.
