El Puntido is a Tempranillo monovarietal that comes from the Finca El Puntido in Páganos-Laguardia in the Rioja Alavesa, from a vineyard planted in 1975, at an altitude of 600 meters. Clay loam soils and calcareous clay in composition. The grapes are selected manually in the vineyard and at the selection table, to extract only the best possible fruit. In the production, 100% is destemmed, malolactic in new French oak barrels and aged for 16 months in new barrels and 6 months in tank. Perfect interpretation of the terroir and the area, good balance between structure, fruit and wood.
