Viña Padre 2021

Viña Padre perfectly expresses the mountainous terroir of the Sierra de Salamanca, of old vines on heterogeneous soil between 800 and 1,000 meters above sea level. It is a robust wine, with 50% Rufete and different proportions of Aragonés, Garnacha, Calabrés as well as a small mixture of white varieties, to make the drink fresher and longer.

Vinos al Margen is a small winery born in Salamanca in 2012 with the purpose of recovering, preserving and vinifying the area's ancient vineyards in danger of extinction. Its aim is to recover time, those wines made as before, in a simple way, that express the vineyard in each harvest. They elaborate in a traditional way, extremely in an organic agriculture that accompanies and harmonizes with the nature of the terroir.
